Located 5 min away from Howrah bridge this hotel has an interesting design. Room was basic and a bit dated but clean and AC was working well. The shower was incredible but there was no hair dryer. There were 2 weddings/celebrations going on when I stayed there and some people would claim it was noisy. Staff were very nice and helpful.

It is a nice hotel on the river, very beautifully designed. Overally, we liked our stay there and would probably recommend this place to others/or probably come back again (and request a different room). Breakfast was very good.

I was there the day before the start of the 2025 IPL for four days and had a great time throughout. Everything in the hotel runs like clockwork and professionally. From the check in, to room service, housekeeping and the dining. Even the valet parking was commendable. Special callout to Arindam Chakraborty in the restaurant and Srabanti and Akash at the reception.

Super interesting and good designed hotel. Amazing location at the Hooghly river in Kolkata historical area. Rooftop restaurant with panoramic view of river, boats, Howrah and Vidyasagar bridges from AC hall or opem terrace and the bar exceeded our expectations. Food in restaurant was delicious and included breakfast was abundant. Special thanks to friendly and helpful staff, and receptionist Tannu Rohit.

Staff were very helpful. Hotel had lots of character. The omelette for breakfast was good! It was great to watch the river traffic - from freighters and ferries to small boats.

This was my second visit to Polo Floatel and this time I ate in the restaurant for dinner after a complimentary cocktail in the roof bar enjoying sunset. The buffet was excellent and service impeccable.

The upper deck restaurant has a lovely view of the river. In the public areas the aging patina gives charm but the room was modern and spotless.

I like the way everything organized so well & special thanks to Danish and Suman they both are so cooperative throughout the process. Hope to visit soon with my family and enjoy the environment more often.

Excellent service and great location (especially if you are traveling to the Eden Gardens) with a old-world charm at this floating hotel with some stunning views of the Howrah bridge. Particularly appreciate the services of Tannu at the front desk who was quick, efficient and ever smiling. Really liked the stay!

Unique nautical-themed hotel in a converted ship, with perfect views of the Hooghly River. The rooms were comfortable and staff were friendly. Room service was excellent.
